Meet Our Staff

Hi, I’m James Martello Sr.

I began my career in law enforcement in 2000 with the Department of Corrections, where I built a strong foundation in discipline, accountability, and service.

In 2004, I started my personal fitness journey to improve both my physical and mental well-being, which led me to earn my personal training certification in 2010 and deepen my understanding of health and performance.

In 2012, I joined the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, where I spent the final eight years of my career serving as a deputy in the medical and mental health departments, as well as a member of the agency’s Health and Wellness Committee.

Through this work, I developed a deeper understanding of whole-person care and preventive health.

After retiring in 2025, I chose to continue serving others by pursuing a career in the medical field and earning my medical assistant certification—driven by a mission to help people improve their quality of life through informed, compassionate, and reliable care.
